The Knightsbridge
The four-bedroom unit located in Kai Tak features a mild neutral color palette, primarily consisting of light wood and off-white tones, creating a bright, serene, and comfortable atmosphere.
The living area is highlighted by a large marble TV wall with natural textures that adds a touch of luxury to the space. The curved light strip design beside the TV wall not only provides soft indirect lighting but also becomes a focal point of the space, creating a warm and appealing visual focus. The layout of the round wooden side table and cozy fabric sofa is open and inviting, providing a perfect place for everyday leisure activities, family gatherings, and entertainment.
The wall next to the sofa area incorporates indirect lighting design techniques, using hidden light strips to outline unique geometric shapes, infusing the space with a sense of modern art.
The dining area features a clean white dining table and chairs combination, complemented by a modern-style pendant light above and artwork on the wall. These elements together create a stylish and practical dining environment. The open storage shelves on the wall are simple yet decorative, displaying selected decorations and everyday items, adding a sense of liveliness to the space. The geometric grid design on the wall not only enriches the visual layers but also provides rhythm and dynamism to the entire space.
The study, which can also serve as a guest room, is a cleverly designed and functional living space. It features a built-in leisure corner with cushions and pillows, providing an ideal place for reading or resting. The adjustable desk surface in the middle can be lowered to become a bed when guests arrive, maximizing space utilization and giving the room a more complete and harmonious look. The entire custom bookshelf has a curved top design, which is both aesthetically pleasing and artistic. The soft curves contrast with the straight lines of the cabinet, highlighting the uniqueness of the space. The light green striped wallpaper on the back panel of the bookshelf adds depth and creates a warm atmosphere. The white shelves and cabinets create a striking contrast with the wallpaper, making the displayed items stand out.
The smaller room features a light green color scheme, and the interval screen with wood grain pattern and the platform divide the space into two functional areas without compromising natural light and ventilation. The designer ingeniously used a cabinet barrel as a bedside table on one side of the desk, making the space more practical. The wardrobe doors are equipped with metallic spherical handles and streamlined design, adding a touch of sophistication and understated luxury to the closet.
The master bedroom features streamlined headboard and footboard designs, contrasting with the other straight-line elements in the room. The bed is adorned with simple white sheets, a brown-toned bed cover, and a series of decorative pillows in the same color scheme, further emphasizing the bedroom’s cozy atmosphere.
One side of the bedroom is dedicated to a full-length wardrobe. The doors feature a sleek white smooth surface material with gold handles, adding a touch of luxury. In the center of the wardrobe, there is a uniquely shaped dressing mirror, with a circular mirror surface and a dark frame that contrasts with the straight lines of the wardrobe, becoming the visual focal point of the entire space.
The other side of the bedroom features a desk area that doubles as a makeup vanity. The tabletop is clean and tidy, equipped with a chair and a wall-mounted mirror, creating a corner suitable for makeup or work. Next to the makeup vanity, there is an open storage shelf for storing cosmetics or books, providing both practicality and decorative effect.
In addition, the hanging pendant light in the center of the room features a unique petal-shaped design, providing soft lighting while also serving as a decorative element. Large windows paired with heavy curtains ensure ample natural light while providing necessary privacy protection.
